Transcending Beauty is presented as a photo series exhibition that looks at re-lensing the work of Raja Ravi Varma. Through visual storytelling, Thuriya aims to contribute to the efforts of decolonisation and re-imagine the definition of Indian beauty, thereby challenging and denouncing Westernised ideals.
