Inspired by the Japanese concept of "Umami" and rooted in a philosophy of sustainability. Umai was founded by an architect and interior designer duo with the belief that homes should be tailored to fit the families who live in them, not the other way around.

Umai takes inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of Umami, “the art of subtle balance,” and is grounded in sustainability. Founded by an architect and interior designer duo, Umai creates homes that are personal, intentional and designed around the people who live in them.
